TREND: We have seen a trend in chemical assisted suicides involving hydrogen sulfide (H2S) that pose a threat to responders’ safety. The Hazmat Fusion Center has compiled an informational document for responding to these incidents.

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration captures valuable hazmat data and this site has several statistical reports of interest to the hazmat community.

NFPA Fire Statistics

The National Fire Protection Association publishes fire statistics every year.
