Mission: Regional Incident Survey Teams (RISTs) are deployed
to survey hazmat incidents after the fact. Information gathered
is analyzed to develop and disseminate smart practices and
lessons learned and to improve curricula and training materials
for the hazardous materials response community. |

The RIST approach is to capture a complete picture of the response, including input from:
- Law enforcement
- Fire
- EMS
- Hazmat
- Emergency Management
- Health and environmental services
